All the shop owners here at the Village of Cross Keys are so excited about all the new stores and restaurants scheduled to open in the next few months. Crews are working tirelessly to get everything done that needs to get done this spring through fall.
Always Ice Cream shop opened last Saturday, May 25th to big crowds. We picked up pints of the Peanut Butter Oreo and Rise Up Coffee ice creams that were scrumptious!! Right next door to RMC will be Cece’s of Roland Park, set to open June 13th. Cece’s will feature “an innovative, continental European menu with coastal influences”. Adjacent to that will be Cece’s Kitchen that will offer house-made pastas and pizzas in a casual family setting. There will also be an open-air courtyard that will have beautifully landscaped areas for al fresco dining, complete with twinkling lights, fire pits, and a spacious bar for cocktails.
Later this year through the spring, summer and fall there will be more new places to visit and enjoy in the center. Opening soon will be ZaVino Italian Marketplace, an Italian delicatessen and grocery with a brick oven pizzeria. They will also serve authentic Italian sandwiches and pastas, Italian cold and dry goods (meats, cheeses, olive oil, etc.) and liquor store. Coming midsummer California Closets and then in late summer bluemercury, a luxury beauty destination that offers a highly curated and premium product assortment across a range of categories. Opening in the fall will be Kneads Bakeshop, that will feature a wide selection of breakfast and lunch items, freshly baked goods and a curated selection of artisan coffees and teas. In the evenings they will be serving small plates, charcuteries, pizzas and large plates along with a selection of beer, wine and signature cocktails.
